Engineering
Before you take home the MDX, you’ll want to select from one of two engine options. The first is the spirited standard 3.5L V6 powertrain, which will provide up to 290 horsepower and 267 lb.-ft. of torque. Those who desire a greater deal of mechanical might will want to have the optional 3.0L turbocharged 6-cylinder system fitted to their SUV, as it dispels up to 355 horsepower and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. Regardless of your selection, this model utilizes a standard 10-speed automatic transmission with sequential SportShift paddle shifters for seamless acceleration. We’d also like to add that a SH-AWD® system is standard, so your grip on the road below won’t get contested by rain or uneven terrain.
Design
Your adventures around Manassas will be met with envious gazes when you glide forth in the 2026 Acura MDX, as it has been styled in ways that amaze. For instance, you have a wide selection of hues to select from, including Urban Gray Pearl, Double Apex Blue Pearl, Performance Red Pearl, and many more. This is paired with standard Jewel Eye® LED headlights, which act as crown gems to the grille. Would you like to enjoy a more athletic appearance for the exterior? Consider the available A-Spec or Type S sport appearance packages, as they give the Acura MDX more aggressive styling and a sharper appeal. While this model already rides confidently atop 19-inch silver split 5-spoke wheels, the optional 21-inch Berlina Black machined-finished variants will add a more robust look.
Interior
The MDX sports up to seven seats and 139.1 cubic ft. of passenger volume, allowing many more guests to join you on trips to Bull Run Occoquan Trail. Your guests will also find themselves accommodated by a standard leatherette-trimmed interior, which adds a plush feel that will earn plenty of compliments. The driver’s seat has also been equipped with a standard 12-way power-adjustment feature with lumbar support to help soothe you into a comforting position. You can further add to this when you select the optional massage feature to accompany you on your travels.
